So you’re looking for a list of two-letter Scrabble words. How about two lists instead? One for Americans and Canadians, and one for everyone else. Yes, even in other English-speaking countries, the approved list of two-letter Scrabble words is different.

The most important thing you need to know when choosing your 2-letter Scrabble words is which list of Scrabble words is the acceptable list where you are playing. There are no less than four official lists in the world, not counting your regular ol’ dictionary. The different lists are used in home and tournament play in different parts of the world. SOWPODS List

The SOWPODS list is the official Scrabble words list used in tournament play in most countries except the U.S., Canada and Thailand. The SOWPODS list is more extensive. It is a combination of the Official Scrabble Players’ Dictionary and the Chambers English Dictionary. This list is not actually published anywhere, but it is very similar to the Collins Scrabble Words list.
