Make Your Own Word Search Puzzle

One good idea is to include a word search puzzle in the bridal shower invitation. It could be inserted inside or printed on the back. You would make one with words of things the couple needs. That would be clever way to let people have some ideas on what to purchase. Another idea is to have some wedding word search games available for children at the wedding reception or at the shower if there will be children there.

If you want to individualize your puzzle, then click the “Make Your Own Word Search” button. You select the category, name, describe your puzzle, and put in 15-30 words. The number and length of words depends on the size of the puzzle. When you are done, you have the choice whether or not to let your puzzle be published on the site. 

Another source for creating word search puzzles is Puzzlemaker. You have a lot of options, like the size of the puzzle, the level of difficulty, and the format. The site filters for offensive words and you have the option of re-doing it if there are any weird words.    

Wedding Word Search Games

There is a wedding word search puzzle that you can print out on Romance Stuck.  It has 19 words.

This site has a good collection of various bridal shower games: Abbee has a number of games. There’s Bridal Word Scramble, Bingo, questions for “How Well Do You Know the Bride?” and several other games to play. 

Printable bridal shower games are available for a small fee on Shower in a Box.  There are different games to choose, including wedding word search games, a trivia game with questions to show how well you know the bride or couple, and others. You may pick as many as you want and print as many copies as you want for $8.95. You can customize with the name of the honoree and the date, and you can pick the color of the header and border. Printing Your Games and Other Things

When you are ready to print the word search puzzle or other games for the party, is would be nice to print them on colored or decorated paper. You can find computer paper many places either in colors or decorated by themes. The theme wouldn’t have to be weddings or bridal showers. If your party has a theme, like tropical, then the paper could coordinate with that.

Free Printable.com has a big selection of invitations that you can print out. It says it has wedding word search games, but you would have to wade through a lot of them as they do not seem to be in any particular order. However, if you click on “invitations” on the left side, you’ll see the party and wedding invitations icon.  Remember, it might be fun to have a theme rather than going with the traditional decor for your party.
