Word searches are simple, yet can challenging if they are specifically designed to be tricky: Letters of words are hidden in a square or rectangle of random letters, and a player has to circle the hidden words within a square. Crossword puzzles give clues to filling in blanks that have a specific number of letters. Since the words intersect with one another it is tricky to find the right words that have the exact number of letters and have the given letters in them, especially if they are designed to trick you.
